Members of our Congregation have been given an exciting opportunity to go on
short-term mission trips to Haiti. Haiti shares the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican
Republic. It is 565 miles off the coast of Florida. Today the population of Haiti numbers over 7 million people.
Haiti is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere with an average income of less than $300.00 a year.
Even though the people of Haiti are free they are still slaves tied to the land and their poverty.

While our primary purpose will be building projects and running a small medical clinic; we will have
the opportunity to serve and to teach others about God. We are praying for God to open the hearts and ears of the
Haitian people and for spiritual growth of our team members.

With the Earthquake in Haiti there has been wide spread devastation to a country that is already well below the poverty line. It will take Many year for them to just get back to where they were before the earthquake. your help is needed even more now then before. there are many places that you can go the help one place is www.haitischildren.org/earthquake.html. Please consider giving. also please view some of the picture the link is below 2010. To read a little about our time there Click Here on OUR RECENT TRIP
Any one interested in this mission, either to go to Haiti or support in other ways,
please contact Joe Scholpp at haitimission@haiti.rlcw.org. There will also be members from Grace Lutheran Church in
Richmond, IL and Prince of Peace Church in Davenport, Iowa that often join us on these trips. The cost for each team member is
approximately $1600.00 per person. This covers all our in country expenses and airfare.
We are trusting God will meet these needs. Please support Redeemers Mission trip members.
